CAUTION
Karl Mark Maddox is wanted for allegedly fleeing the state of Oregon in violation of his probation for his conviction of attempted sex abuse. Maddox was indicted for attempted sex abuse of a minor female in Lane County, Oregon, and arrested for this crime on October 7, 1997. While on pre-trial release, he fled to Mexico, but later returned to Oregon and was arrested in May of 1998. He was then convicted of the crime of attempted sexual abuse in the first degree in Oregon Circuit Court. While on probation, Maddox violated the conditions of his supervision and a probation violation warrant was issued for him on December 10, 1998, in Lane County, Oregon. A federal arrest warrant charging Maddox with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued on September 16, 2004, in Eugene, Oregon.
