This page is dedicated to missing children cases of the New York State area (locally and state-wide), missing children who are on the Amber Alert System and missing children nationwide. Individual case alerts with relevant information (photograph, description, etc.) will be shown. If you would like to have a missing child listed here please contact the Child Abuse Unit.

  • Keep a complete description of your child (including any cosmetic features such as birthmarks and scars)
  • Keep current color photographs of your child
  • Keep copies of your child's fingerprints
  • Keep a sample of your child's DNA
  • Know where your child's medical records are located
  • Maintain up-to-date dental records of your child
